Uncompressed audio file size
Estimate raw PCM storage from duration, sample rate, bit depth and channel count. Compare decimal MB and binary MiB before recording or archiving. The bitrate shows the continuous data rate independently of duration.

Your inputs
The editable example is illustrative. Enter your own dimensions, operating data, prices, and fees. Results update as you edit.

How it works
- Payload bytes = ceil( × ) × × ÷ 8
- Worked example
- 60 × 48,000 × 2 × 24 ÷ 8 = 17,280,000 bytes = 17.28 MB

Assumptions and limitations
Counts interleaved PCM samples with no compression. Fractional sample counts round up to one complete sample frame. WAV/AIFF headers, metadata, padding and filesystem overhead are excluded. MP3, AAC and compressed lossless formats need different models.
