Models and units
emonster maintains this library. Each tool defines its inputs, units, conversion rules or algorithm separately from the interface. The page explains assumptions and displayed precision. Estimates use the values you supply; a displayed decimal is not evidence of measurement accuracy.
Examples and generated files
We compare worked examples with direct arithmetic or a reference result and run automated checks for representative valid, invalid and boundary inputs. Generator checks include format validation, round trips or decoding where applicable, plus export inspection. A QR example is checked by decoding the generated image. Tests cover selected cases, not every possible input, scanner or printer.
Browser work and external data
Calculations and file transformations run in the browser. Currency and metal tools request reference rates from Frankfurter without sending the entered amount. The airport finder downloads our reference catalog and searches it locally. Page delivery, optional analytics and Google consent messages still involve network services. Check each tool’s processing note and the Privacy Policy; local calculation does not mean anonymous browsing.
Languages, corrections and limits
Translations must preserve the same model, units and scope; independent native-speaker review has not been completed for every text. When reporting an error, include the tool URL, language, synthetic inputs, expected result and what happened. Avoid sending private files or personal data. We review the model and sources, correct the owning content or code and rerun relevant checks. Passing tests is not professional certification, guaranteed indexing or AdSense approval.
