How it works
- Words cross only at matching letters. Empty neighbors and word ends are checked to prevent accidental side-by-side words. Numbering follows the grid from top to bottom, left to right. Rearrange changes the starting word; download includes the grid and clues.

Assumptions and limitations
Up to 30 distinct answers, each 2–24 letters; spaces are removed and letters uppercased. Unicode letters are supported; digits and punctuation in answers are rejected. Layout uses a bounded heuristic, not an optimal solver. Unplaced answers are listed explicitly. Clue accuracy is your responsibility.
How to use this tool
Enter one ANSWER: clue pair per line, generate and inspect the connected grid. Review any unplaced answers, toggle the solution and download the SVG when ready.
When this is useful
Create a vocabulary activity or a small custom puzzle. Rearranging tries another bounded layout; it does not guarantee that every word will fit or that a different grid exists.

Processing and privacy
The calculation or transformation runs in your browser. The tool does not send its input values or generated output to an application server. Loading a page still makes infrastructure requests; optional analytics and Google consent messages have separate controls.
