How it works
- Net volume = (L×W×Depth / π×Diameter²×Depth/4) × Quantity; Volume including allowance = Net volume × (1+Waste or settling allowance (%)/100)
- Worked example: 3 × 2 × 0.1 = 0.6 m³; 0.6 × 1.1 = 0.66 m³; π×0.3²×1/4 ≈ 0.070685835 m³
- Supported input limits: Length: 1e-12 ≤ x ≤ 1000000000000; Width: 1e-12 ≤ x ≤ 1000000000000; Diameter: 1e-12 ≤ x ≤ 1000000000000; Depth: 1e-12 ≤ x ≤ 1000000000000; Quantity: 1 ≤ x ≤ 100000; Waste or settling allowance (%): 0 ≤ x ≤ 1000; Mixed yield per bag (m³; zero to omit): 0 ≤ x ≤ 1000000000000; Price per m³ (zero to omit): 0 ≤ x ≤ 1000000000000
Assumptions and limitations
Enter measured dimensions in the selected length unit; area, opening and pack coverage values use m². Allowances apply once and only purchases round upward. This estimates material quantities, not structural design, cutting layouts or installation standards. Product coverage and yields must come from your actual product.
