Frequently asked questions
Answers about free access, local processing, accuracy, downloads, reference data and privacy choices on emonster.tools.

What can I do here?
Use the library for everyday conversions, dates, money scenarios, image tasks and specialist calculations. Search by the task you need to complete, or browse categories. Each tool keeps its own inputs, examples, method and limits close to the result.
Are the tools free, and do I need an account?
The public tools and their current outputs are free to use, with no account or email signup required. Enter only the information needed for your chosen task; an email-type QR code, for example, still needs the email address you want to encode.
Are my inputs and images uploaded?
The calculation or transformation runs in your browser. The tool does not send its input values or generated output to an application server. Loading a page still makes infrastructure requests; optional analytics and Google consent messages have separate controls.
Do any tools request external data?
Currency and metal tools request reference rates from Frankfurter without sending the entered amount. The airport finder downloads our reference catalog and searches it locally. Initial page delivery also needs a connection. This is not a promise that the entire website works offline.
How should I interpret the results?
Read the selected mode, units, assumptions and rounding alongside the result. We check representative cases and worked examples, but a model can omit real-world factors. Financial, health and specialist estimates are not personalized professional advice or certification.
Do I need JavaScript or a particular browser?
Explanations, methods and ordinary links are readable without JavaScript. Interactive calculations, previews and downloads need JavaScript and the relevant browser APIs. Keep your browser updated; image encoding, downloads and clipboard support can vary by device.
Can I download and use generated files?
Use the export controls on tools that provide them, and inspect the actual file before using it. Scan QR and barcode exports with your intended reader. A static QR code keeps fixed data; generating a barcode image does not allocate a GS1 product number.
Why do number separators and dates look different?
The interface follows the selected language’s decimal and grouping conventions. Check units and date labels before pasting values. Structured text such as JSON, URLs and identifiers keeps its own syntax; the tool does not guess ambiguous punctuation.
How can I change privacy preferences?
Open Privacy & preferences in the footer to manage optional analytics and available advertising privacy controls. These are separate choices. Resetting preferences does not consent to advertising; local controls do not replace any required regional consent message.
How do I report an error or suggest a tool?
Contact emonster with the tool URL, language, synthetic example inputs, expected result and what happened. Please do not send personal information or private files. Suggestions are welcome, but no delivery date or professional review is promised.
