How it works
- Fuel volume = Distance (km) × Consumption or efficiency (L/km); Fuel-only trip cost = Fuel volume (L) ÷ Fuel price volume unit (L) × Fuel price per selected volume
- Worked example: 300 km × 6/100 = 18 L; 18 × 1.50 = 27; 27/3 = 9
- Supported input limits: Distance: 0 ≤ x ≤ 1000000000000; Consumption or efficiency: 1e-12 ≤ x ≤ 1000000000000; Fuel price per selected volume: 0 ≤ x ≤ 1000000000000; People sharing cost: 1 ≤ x ≤ 1000
Assumptions and limitations
Prices, power, utilization and fees are your assumptions. Fuel cost excludes tolls and ownership costs. These estimates do not imply market, tax, wiring or safety recommendations.
