How it works
- Epoch milliseconds = 1000 × Epoch seconds; 1970-01-01T00:00:00.000Z = 0
- Worked example: 0 s ⇒ 1970-01-01T00:00:00.000Z; −1 s ⇒ 1969-12-31T23:59:59.000Z
- Supported input limits: Integer timestamp: n ≤ 18
Assumptions and limitations
Civil dates use years 1–9999. Regional instant rules use the browser’s IANA database and support 1900–9999. Select earlier or later for repeated local times; nonexistent times are rejected. Clock differences and elapsed time are distinct. No national holidays, payroll law or legal deadlines are inferred. Timestamp input supports integer milliseconds within ±8640000000000000. Seconds and milliseconds are explicit; no leap-second accounting. Date entry uses the civil range and regional zone limits stated above.
