Inventory reorder point
Estimate the stock level at which to place a replenishment order. Combine average daily demand with lead time and your chosen safety stock. The result rounds upward to a whole unit and shows expected lead-time demand separately.
Free to use. No email or account required.
Your inputs
The editable example is illustrative. Enter your own dimensions, operating data, prices, and fees. Results update as you edit.
Calculations run in your browser. Inputs are not saved or sent to analytics.
How it works
- Demand during lead time = ×
- Reorder point, rounded up = ceil(Demand during lead time + )
- Worked example

Assumptions and limitations
Keep demand and lead time on the same day basis: calendar days or operating days. Demand and lead time are treated as constant. Safety stock is an input, not statistically derived. This gives a reorder trigger, not order quantity, service-level guarantee or demand forecast.
