Assumptions and limitations
Uses sRGB channels from 0 to 255, hue from 0° to 360°, and percentages from 0 to 100. HEX accepts 3 or 6 digits. Achromatic colors use hue 0°. HEX is rounded to the nearest 8-bit channel; other outputs retain up to 4 decimal places. CSS strings keep their required decimal point. CMYK uses a simple conversion without an ICC profile; printed results can differ.
