3D print dimension correction
Calculate separate X, Y and Z scale adjustments from intended and measured dimensions. Drag the graph handles to change inputs and explore the result.
Your inputs
Example values are editable. Use your measurements and product specifications. Results update as you edit.
Calculations run in your browser. Inputs are not saved or sent to analytics.
How it works
- X scale correction = / × 100%; Xerror = −
- Yscale = / × 100%; Zscale = / × 100%

Assumptions and limitations
Correction assumes dimensional error scales proportionally under the same printing conditions. It is a relative model-scale adjustment, not a firmware calibration or universal shrinkage preset. Additive offsets, hole clearance and first-layer deformation may need different corrections. Target 20 mm and measured 19.8 mm give 101.0101% scale.
